This album grew organically from a proposed Walls Of Genius project that didn't happen. We were planning to do a 1/3-Evan 1/3-Fyo and 1/3 Ed,Evan & Fyo program, a lot like our most well-received releases back in the 80s. But Fyo got busy with his solo career, Ed hardly plays his guitars anymore and I just kept on recording things. So, voila! A program of the "Head Moron's" side of Walls Of Genius. As Little Fyodor became himself, so now I have become El Jefe Loco. A side of guacamole never hurts when ordering an "El Jefe Loco". As for the subtitles, "El Jefe Imbecile" is a translation of "Head Moron", but I liked the sound of "Loco" better. "Doctor Goodvibes" was a nickname I had for a little while when I was distributing LSD in the 70s and "Rap King" another nickname from a friend who liked my "rap", way before the days of Rap Music, when "rapping" was just a description of inspired conversation (thank you, Professor Norden).
